As we wind down….

Sorry that I have been neglecting you all lately.  Its just been difficult to get stuff out of my head and into writing.

It seems that my process called more for quiet reflection than for getting things off my chest.

This year has brought an abundance of growth and knowledge. As well as a deeper understanding of who I am.

Financially I needed more abundance but it seems 2010 was not to be my year for that.  Perhaps 2011??

In  the meantime I am grateful for the things that are abundant and my year end promises to be a quiet retreat, which excites me beyond belief.

To boot camp or not to boot camp?

Its early Saturday morning and I am getting ready to go on my run!  I am really keen to join an Adventure Boot camp which is in the evening 3 times per week.  It starts Monday.  What do you think guys?  Shall I go for it?

Honestly take-aways are generally very high in trans fats and as such you should avoid them.  Trans fats are vegetable oils which are subjected to a hydrogenation process.  These fats mimic a saturated fat, such as butter,cream etc.  But are much cheaper and they are stable at room temperature.  In this way the shelf life of products was extended or in the case of the fats used for fried foods the oil can be reheated many more times before needing to be changed.

I would certainly avoid anything fried if you are in any way serious about your health.  Personally I stick to sushi!

Bliss is going for an early morning run and feeling the fresh air on your body.

Bliss is standing at the top of a steep mountain or hill that you have climbed and admiring the view.

Bliss is making new friends, who you feel like you have known forever.

Bliss is feeling completely comfortable in my skin, exactly where I am right now.

Aah the cellulite question….

The thing about cellulite is that I have seen it on thin and fat alike.  But I have never seen it where the body fat is low and the lean muscle is high.

Cut back on toxins like alcohol,coffee and bad fats and eat lean protein and loads of fresh green vegetables.  Train weights-hard!

Re-inventing the crash!

The good news is that having time to reflect on these aspects brings me into balance and opens the channels for communication!

The energy may not have been flowing smoothly but now things are running again!

Technology breakdown!

I have been the portable Bermuda triangle for all of my technology!  My phone, my lap top even tumblr on my phone disappeared.  All forms of communication-crashed!

So I figured that I just had to run with it and be out of touch for a while. 

Now because I believe that everything in my outer world mirrors my inner world, I began to look at the parts of my inner world that were crashing, or had broken down.

My ability to put myself first and say no for my own good-crashed ages ago!

My balance-off the chart broken.

My communication with myself and my daughter-crashed!

Well it is certainly usual in that a lot of people binge when they are about to get their period but I think we have to acknowledge that there are reasons for this.  When you are about to or are actually menstruating your progesterone levels increase.  Due to this increase it was believed that this hormone was the cause of all our problems.  Recently they realised that in fact in women with the most problems around this time it was actually oestrogen that was dominant.  There are a great deal of oestrogens pumped into our meat and also soft plastics which mimic oestrogen in the body.  This causes havoc in the body.

So basically if you are experiencing any abnormal symptoms during your cycle then the chances are your hormones are not balanced.
